Leaving London

I wrote this song pretty quickly and easily in 2010 whilst walking from the park & ride into Winchester city centre for a temporary job following redundancy. I can picture the walk today and I know exactly where I first came up with this!

At the time I was reflecting on how I could have gone to either Norwich or London to pursue my High Net Worth Insurance ambitions, but I chose not to.

I never fancied working in London…and I can’t stand playing the self promoting, career climbing games that would come with it…
